Who are our ambassadors? How do they work, what do they enjoy and what are they currently working on? In the next part of our column, we talked with service designer Kateřina Vondráková.

What is your main occupation?

I call myself a service designer/project starter. It's important to me to be passionate about my work and helping to make the world into a better place.

What does your typical work day look like?

I try to start my morning with yoga, which always makes my day better. I can't skip the morning coffee either. But other than that, I'm usually sitting at my computer, checking emails and tasks. I try to keep my activities at a level where I can work from anywhere, I can't sit in an office for 8 hours.

"I've had a soft spot for solidpixels since I ran the non-profit HERO CLAN and created our website. With the rapid growth of our organization, we needed to respond quickly with edits to the site, which was more than easy with solidpixels, and I even started to enjoy working on the site."

Why did you decide to become a solidpixels ambassador?

I've had a soft spot for solidpixels since I ran the non-profit HERO CLAN with Veronika Procházková and we created our website. With the rapid growth of our organization, we needed to respond quickly with edits to the site, which was more than easy with solidpixels, and I even started to enjoy working on the site! Since then I have had the opportunity to be involved in many solidpixels projects and recommend it wherever I go.

What is the most prevalent myth about the web/working with it among your clients?

That you build a site and products magically start to sell. So I teach clients over and over again that you still need to build the paths that customers take to get to the site. And also that more text is not always better.

"What do I like about solidpixels? The fact that the tool is constantly updated and I don't have to worry about finished projects. That the responsive version works as it should. That there is support with a real person who is always quick to advise me. That I have the opportunity to educate myself at the solidpixels academy and know that the company is based in the Czech Republic. I like to support local products."

The Ambassador Program is here for professionals who want to deliver world-class websites to their clients. Try it too.

What do you see as the key advantage of solidpixels?

Apart from simplicity and efficiency? That the tool is constantly updated and I don't have to worry about finished projects. That the responsive version works as it should. That there is support with a real person who is always quick to advise me. That I have the opportunity to educate myself at the solidpixels academy and know that the company is based in the Czech Republic. I like to support local products.

Will you share with us your favorite latest projects?

Most recently, I helped with the fulfillment of Optimics' website, where I got to experience the latest features of solidpixels. Now I'll be building a website for a tattoo artist/illustrator friend, which is already my favorite project. And I can't help but think of HERO CLAN again.
